LAURA DIANE LOEFFLER

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Laura Diane Loeffler, 68, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Aspire of Muscatine.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the New Hope Assembly of God Church, 4425 70th Street, Urbandale, IA 50322. Laura was born on August 5, 1957, in Richmond, California, the daughter of Robert H. and Wilberta Lynn Huxhold Boring. Growing up she attended Lutheran Missouri Synod. While attending college Laura would take music classes, singing courses, and run track. She married the love of her life David J. Loeffler. They resided in Modesto, California where they attended a Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2019.

After moving to Iowa, she attended New Hope Assembly of God in Urbandale, Iowa.

Laura loved cats, reading, art and playing bingo. Laura was devout in her faith and would share with the people around her. Spending time with her family and friends was very important to her. The biggest part of her life was her husband, David.

Laura is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Gary Goldman; nieces and nephews, Talis Ann Dayton, Brandon Antony McLaurin and Jennifer Ann McLaurin; and uncle, George Thomas Boring.

Laura is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; brother, George R. Boring; and nephews, Dale Dayton and Srg. Kyle Dayton.
