MUSCATINE, Iowa – Laura Williams, 92, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at home.

Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Laura requested any memorials be made to the family for donations at a later date.

Laura was born on September 12, 1933, in Muscatine County, the daughter of Estle and Ella Reeves Martin. She married Harold Williams on November 9, 1951. After almost 60 years of marriage, Harold preceded her in death on June 7, 2011.

She loved fishing, bowling, traveling, Bingo, crafts, going to the casino, monthly Friday Maid Rite days, and Saturday night Uno games. She truly enjoyed times spent with family and adventures she and Julie took.

She is survived by her son, Randall Craig Williams of Struthers, Ohio; daughter, Julie Ann Williams of Muscatine; six grandchildren; sister-in-law, Darlene Martin; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her best friend and brother, Thomas Leo Martin (2001); sister, Effie McCleary (2014); her husband, Harold Williams (2011); parents, Estel (1976) and Ella Reeves Martin (1975); and grandson, Christopher Craig Williams in February 2026.
