LINDA LUCILLE DILLARD

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Linda Lucille Dillard, 71, began a new journey on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at UnityPoint Health Muscatine.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Muscatine Humane Society and Scott County Humane Society. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. E.L. Dillard will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, at a later date.

Linda was born on July 22, 1954, in Muscatine, the daughter of James D. and Jolly M. Moffett Dillard. She spent over 40 years with her husband, Lucius Williams.

Linda graduated from Muscatine High School in 1974.

Linda was an amazing seamstress, whose creativity was evident in everything she made. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life – working in her yard, spending time talking on the phone with those she loved, and going out to eat. Linda’s warmth, dedication, and love for the people around her will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her husband, Lucius; son, Tony Lloyd; siblings, Elnita Dillard of Davenport, Iowa and Sarah Clark of Dayton, Ohio; cousins, Reggie Page, Leo ‘Doc’ Anderson, Diana Dillard, Jeannie Bragg, Lynn Kendred Dillard, Djuann Pittman, and Almond Dillard; nieces and nephews, Alex, Chastity, Russell, Brittney, Mary, Siobhan, Vivian, Andre, Danyel, Olivia, and MJ close friend, Alice Clark; and Bishop E.L. Dillard, who raised Linda; sister in law, Florence Moffett; and several other nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.

Linda is preceded in death by parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; brother, Oliver D. Moffett; and aunt, Florine Anderson.
