LINDA LOUISE EDWARDS

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Linda Louise Edwards, 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at UnityPoint Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.

A celebration of life will be held at The Overlook Ballroom in Hotel Muscatine, 101 W. Mississippi Drive Suite 101, Muscatine, on January 31st from 4:00-7:00, there will be be a rosary service at 3:00pm for anyone who would like to attend. Linda was born on September 2, 1948, in Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of Edwin and Hilda Boes Buelt. She married Dale Nienhaus and they had three boys. She later married Terry Edwards and raised their family together. During their 40 years together they enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends, and watching all of their kids grow.

Linda graduated from Hayes Catholic High School and attended Muscatine Community College and Mt. Mercy College. She worked over 30 years as a home care hospice aide and for Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust. She was an unbelievably hard worker and took great pride in what she did. During her time at Carver’s she enjoyed her conversations with Dr. Ross, maintaining the flowers, and taking care of all the cats there.

Linda was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. She loved all animals, especially her dogs, Boomer, Tuya, Turk (Little Joe Turkey), and Cinnamon. She enjoyed working outside with Terry taking care of their home. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her children, Terry (Cathy) Nienhaus, Steven (Beth) Nienhaus, and Christopher (Jen) Nienhaus; stepson, Steven (Remy) Edwards; grandchildren, Jacob, Clare, Colton, Kealy, Keaton, Annabelle, John, Jaxson, and Avery; siblings, Barbara Blubaugh, Joann Hall, Dale Buelt, Dan Buelt, and Diane Buelt.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Hilda Buelt, and Terry Edwards.
