LINDA J. MILLER

MOLINE, Illinois – Linda J. Miller, 78, of Moline, Illinois, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Highland Ridge in Williamsburg, Iowa.

Following cremation, no visitation is planned. There will be a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church in East Moline, date and time to be determined. A private family committal service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muscatine, Iowa. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home in Muscatine, Iowa is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice or First Presbyterian Church in East Moline.

Linda Jeanne Miller was born on May 9, 1947, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Richard L. and Virginia M. (Miller) Miller. She graduated from Muscatine High School in 1965 and received her bachelors (1969) and masters (1973) degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. Miss Miller was a member of First Presbyterian Church in East Moline, Illinois, and was an organist there for 55 years. She taught fourth grade in the Rock Island Public Schools, retiring in 1995.

Survivors include siblings, Barbara J. and Thomas Buchanan of Williamsburg, Iowa, Norman D. and Patricia of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Wayne R. and Suzanne of Bushnell, Florida; nieces and nephews, Marisa (Andrew) Weisshopf, Lyndall Gregson, Graig Miller, Karah (Adam) Baier, Matthew (Krista) Miller, and Meghan (Louis) Roscoe; and 11 great nieces and nephews.

Her parents, Richard and Virginia, preceded her in death.
