LYLE E. KRUEGER SR.
MUSCATINE, Iowa – Lyle E. Krueger Sr, 97, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, at Lutheran Homes.

There will be no services. A private burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Lyle was born on March 4, 1926, in Muscatine, the son of Edward Krueger and Jesse Cunningham. He married Violet J. Gatton on May 18, 1945, in Muscatine. She preceded him in death on April 13, 2018.

Lyle was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Lyle is survived by his four children, Brenda Day, of Muscatine, Marcia Rockey and husband, James, of Columbus Junction, Lyle E. Krueger Jr. and wife, Robin, of Muscatine, and Michael L. Krueger, of Muscatine; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; his siblings; and son-in-law, Michael.
