MAUREEN HELEN ‘RENEE’ PALLISCHECK

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Maureen Helen ‘Renee’ Pallischeck, 86, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Ss. Mary Mathias Catholic Church. The Reverend Chris Weber will officiate. Following the Mass, burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home in Muscatine, Iowa 52761. Maureen was born on January 10, 1938, in Muscatine, the daughter of William S. and Julia Byrne Noll. Maureen was the youngest of nine children. She was a 1956 graduate of the Muscatine Catholic High School and married James Pallischeck on June 22, 1957, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Muscatine, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1992.

Maureen was a member of the Ss. Mary Mathias Catholic Parish, hospital auxiliary, and Catholic Daughters. She worked and retired from Bamford Studio.

Maureen enjoyed traveling, especially with her sister, Judy, family reunions, and attending all the activities that her grandchildren and great grandchildren were involved in. She was an avid Hawkeyes fan.

Maureen loved her life and had a great sense of humor. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Maureen is survived by her children, Peggy Gordon (Tim), Debra Hasty (Bill), Sharon Pallischeck, Theresia Berutti (Joe), and Tammy Shellady (Chuck); grandchildren, Rebecca Schmidt (Mikel), SSG Nicholas Hasty, Mitchell Shellady (Abbie), Brayton Shellady (Shelby Powers), Carly Berutti, Gino Berutti, and Marisa Capitani (Spencer); great grandchild, Madden and Meyer Shellady, and Casey Shellady; sister, Julia ‘Judy’ Strause; sister-in-law, Marlene Noll; and many numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James; parents; siblings, Morris (Anne) Noll, Mary (Jerry) Blaesing, Bill (Mary) Noll, Jack (Nadine) Noll, Katie (Robert) Chaudoin, Robert (Darlene) Noll, and Thomas Noll; and brother-in-law, Robert Strause.
