Michael Thomas Hargrove

March 14, 1973 – October 3, 2025

Michael Thomas Hargrove, 52, of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away on October 3, 2025, following a bicycle accident on Fletcher Hill, also known as Miller’s Hill. Born in New Jersey, Michael was known to friends and family as a gentle giant and a “big teddy bear” — generous, kind, and always ready to help others.

He was the cherished only son of Elmer Lee Hargrove and Nancy Marie Hargrove (née Buchler), a brave war veteran who served two active tours and gave his life in service to the nation. This loss inspired Michael to live a life of quiet compassion, always lifting the spirits of those around him.

Michael’s generosity knew no bounds. He is survived by his loving sisters, Pamela, Susan, and Tina, and many nieces and nephews and extended family who cherished him.

Michael will be remembered for his warmth, loyalty, and the countless ways he touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His spirit of kindness and selflessness will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
