MIRIAM L. NEFF

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Miriam L. Neff, 93, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus.

Graveside service will be at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Ned Fry will officiate. There will be a Celebration of Life from 5 until 7 pm, at the American Legion, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Miriam was born on August 27, 1931, in Illinois, the daughter of Omar and Esther Freese Howard. She married Harold W. Neff on August 23, 1958, in Galesburg, Illinois.

She enjoyed country western music and going to concerts with Kathleen Luth, cooking, spending time with her sisters, watching the kids, and spending time at her cottage in Fairport.

Miriam is survived by her son, Paul Neff of Muscatine; one grandson, Zach McKillip; four great grandchildren, Zoey, Damion, Max, and Irish; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; son Arnold; daughter, Ann; sisters, Thelma Hidlebaugh, Ruth Yerrington, and Phyllis Marine; and brothers, Leroy Howard, Jerry Howard.
