MOLLY A. EISELE

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Molly A. Eisele, 91, of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Matthea Haecker will officiate. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. A time for food and fellowship will follow the burial at the American Legion.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Hospital in Iowa City in honor of Molly. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Molly was born on August 22, 1934, in St. Edwards, Nebraska, the daughter of Fred and Margrette Rowley Schroeder. She married William J. Eisele on June 23, 1951. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2004.

Molly was a Sunday school teacher and was PTO at school.

Molly found great joy in crocheting, completing puzzles, and watching the birds and possums in her yard. She was also a dedicated collector of Pillsbury Doughboy memorabilia. Molly’s greatest love was her family. She treasured the time spent with her grandchildren, especially when making homemade pizzas together. She also delighted in hosting her granddaughters and grandsons for their respective game nights. Above all, Molly loved people; she never knew a stranger and touched the lives of everyone she met.

Molly is survived by her children, Susan Krogman, Pam Coulter and husband, Steve, Vickie Peterson and husband, Richard, Karen Shouse and husband, Randy, Peggy Estell and husband, Michael, and Wendy Stephens and husband, Brad; several grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; siblings, Robert Schroeder, Bonnie Jolly, Jack Schroeder, Don Schroeder, Dorothy Smith, Doris Ricketts, and Patty Williams; and son-in-law, David Krogman.
