NORMAN COLE

MUSCATINE, IA – Norman Cole, 64, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Trinty UnityPoint Health Muscatine.

Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the Muscatine American Legion. The Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Norman was born on January 24, 1962, in Muscatine, the son of Russell Lyle and Faye Dolores Smith Cole. He married Patty Goreham on February 14, 1984.

Norman enjoyed tinkering on tractors, polishing rocks, and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Norman is survived by his wife, Patty; children, Annie (Nancy Chapman) Cole, Joseph (Emily McDonald) Cole, and Kimberly Cole; grandchildren, Koltin Cole, Jayden Cole, Willow Cole, Macey McDonald, Blake McDonald, and McKenna McDonald; and sister, Pam (David) Fuller.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Cole.
