PATRICIA L. CRUMP
MUSCATINE, IA – Patricia L. Crump, 86, passed from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Monday, July 20, 2026, at home with her family at her side.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Muscatine. Pastor Michael Haltom will officiate. Burial will be in Letts Cemetery. A time for food and fellowship will follow the burial at the church. Pallbearers will be Wayne Crump Jr., John Crump, Bob Arndt, Tim Arndt, Mike Ford, and Noah Crump. Honorary pallbearers will be Easton Ford, Mason Crump, Sawyer Arndt, and Lawson Arndt.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in honor of Pat to Hillcrest Baptist Church Missions. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Patricia was born November 22, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of John and Lottie Lormis Meiners. She married Wayne K. Crump on June 2, 1956. As of this year, they would’ve celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. She will always be known by Wayne as ‘Patsy.’ Pat babysat many children over the years.
Pat received a liver transplant almost 30 years ago. She is the longest living transplant recipient in the State of Iowa who never rejected. After moving to Iowa in 1975, Pat served God in several local churches alongside her husband, Wayne.
Pat is survived by three children, Wayne Jr. (Valarie) Crump, Debbie (Bob) Arndt, and John (Michelle) Crump; grandchildren, Stuart (Kristy) Kerns, Elyse Kerns, Becky (Mike) Ford, Tim (Kate) Arndt, Kaitlynn Crump, Kaylie Crump, Noah Crump, and Mason Crump; great grandchildren, Easton, Aubrey, Avery, Callie, Sawyer, Lawson, Maxie, and Sammi; brother-in- law, Frank S. (Irene) Crump; sisters-in-law, Nancy V. Crump, Ethel Meiners, and Elana Crump; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Don, LaVerne, Delores, Ritchie, Junior, Harry, Kenny, and Dolly.
