PATSY ‘PAT’ M. MILLER

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Patsy ‘Pat’ M. Miller, 83, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Lutheran Living.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Mulford Evangelical Free Church. There will be a additional visitation time from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, 15, 2026. Tye Male will officiate with Rick Nielsen as eulogist. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Mulford Evangelical Free Church or Hospice Compassus, and the family encourages flowers to be purchased from Petal and Leaf to help support family friends’ business. Pat was born on September 2, 1942, in Missouri, the daughter of John W. and Ruby C. Shaw Wince. She married Larry Lee Miller on June 17, 1960, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2025.

Pat had worked at B. Dalton Bookstore and at the high school cafeteria. She had attended Hillcrest Baptist Church and Mulford Evangelical Free Church. She was an Awana Leader for many years. Most of all, she loved caring for her grandchildren.

Pat was an avid Elvis Presley fan who enjoyed reading, bowling, and watching TV. Her many hobbies included crocheting, camping, playing cards, and watching baseball, basketball, and ice-skating. She also had a great love for eating out and, of course, popcorn.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Lori (Joseph) Wedekind and their children, Emilee (Donato) Wedekind-Balualua and their children, Logan and Ella, and Seth Wedekind and his son, Cooper; daughter, Melissa (Terry) Thompson; grandchildren, James Thompson, Ty (Missy) Thompson, and Tera (Mike) Thompson; great grandchildren, Tyler, Jordin, Landin, Hannah, Gabby, Michael Jr., Hunter, Serene, Cole, Noah, and Safiya; great great grandchildren, Zelena, Alexis, Isabella, and Regina; and siblings, Linda (Duke) Koepping and William R. (Vicki) Wince.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry.
