RANDALL VAUGHN SHEPPARD JR.

NICHOLS, Iowa – Randall ‘Randy’ Vaughn Sheppard Jr., 48, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at his home.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Graveside Service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, in care of Jenie.

Randy was born on September 8, 1976, in Washington, Pennsylvania, the son of Randall Sheppard Sr. and Jacqulyn Rutan Fonner. He married Jenifer Lyn Gill on May 22, 2012, in Key West, Florida.

He enjoyed country living, hunting white tail, fishing, taking care of goats and chickens, sitting on the porch, trail riding, and four wheelers.

Randy is survived his wife, Jenie Sheppard of Nichols; father, Randall Sheppard Sr.; mother and stepfather, Jacqulyn and Scott Fonner; three children, Torie Hathaway of West Liberty; Alexis Sheppard of Washington, and Randall Sheppard III of California, Pennsylvina; two grandchildren, Brantley and Stella; and two sisters, Heather Sheppard and Amber Sheppard.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
