MUSCATINE, Iowa – Renee Ann Kleitsch, 66, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at home.

Renee was born on October 14, 1959, in Central City, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Barbara Johnson Bruce.

She had a variety of passions and hobbies. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, painting, and reading. She also loved more active pursuits, such as riding quads, swimming, and playing video games on the Nintendo Switch. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Renee is survived by her significant other, Kevin Klein; two children, Daniel Figueroa and Vanessa Reist and husband, Darren; two grandchildren, Savannah Garcia and Saylim Figueroa; two great grandchildren, Izabel Garcia and Mateo Garcia; and brother, Michael Bruce and wife, Sandy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Susan.
