RHEA MARIE BROOKHART
HOMOSASSA, Florida – Rhea Marie Brookhart, 81, Formerly of Muscatine, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at HPH Hospice in Homosassa, FL.
Funeral Service will be Monday, August 4, 2025, at 3:00 pm, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Visitation will be following the service from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at the funeral home.

Rhea was born on September 10, 1943, in Muscatine, the daughter of Benjamin Ivan and Elda M. Haldeman Goddard. She was united in marriage with Paul Brookhart on March 15, 1980. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2024.
Rhea worked in clerical for a farm Implementing Business. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She enjoyed party planning and cooking. Rhea loved being outside, especially boating, fishing, mushroom hunting, and bird watching. She liked to play board games and loved to go antique store shopping.
Rhea is survived by her daughter and son, Jennifer (Scott) Haney and Joel (Michele) Neely; 5 grandchildren, Austin Lovstad, Ashly Kuhlenbeck, Allison Guerrero, Kole Neely, and Joel Neely III; 8 great grandchildren, Tyler Carr, Jenna Lovstad, Elin Kuhlenbeck, Vail Kuhlenbeck, Greyson Guerrero, Sophia Guerrero, Ashton Guerrero, and Xiarra Neely; and her siblings Mary Ellen Simon, Shirley Hinkhouse, Lois Wilson, and Elda May Snyder.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her parents, Benjamin Ivan and Elda M. Goddard; and siblings, Ivan, Gene, Wayne Goddard and Joanne Plett.
