MUSCATINE, Iowa – Richard Alan Hora, 67, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Simpson Memorial.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Collier will officiate. Burial will be in Cairo Cemetery

Richard was born on August 5, 1958, in Iowa, the son of Frank and Patricia Morgan Hora. He married Linda J. Jennings on June 18, 1983, at United Methodist Church, in Columbus Junction. She preceded him in death on April 22, 2024.

He worked for the City of West Liberty for over 30 years. Richard enjoyed fishing and spending time with his granddaughters.

He is survived by his son, Kenny L. Hora (Amy Kuboushek); and grandchildren, Adalyn G. Hermanson and Natalie P. Hora; siblings, Rebecca Mills of Nichols, and Michael (Kim) Hora of Wellman, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents, Frank, and Patricia Hora; and parents-in-law, Olin, and Norma Jennings; sister Deborah Hora.
