RICHARD LEE SCHMELZER

MUSCATINE, Iowa - Richard 'Dick' Lee Schmelzer, 91, formerly of Cranston, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Lutheran Living.

Dick was born on September 22, 1932, in Lone Tree, the son of Ethel (Bernadine) Schmelzer and Raymond Schmelzer. Dick was united in marriage to Jeannie Edgington on June 30, 1978.

Dick retired from Monsanto and later worked for Replica.

He is preceded in death by his wife on August 21, 2022; his parents; two brothers, Raymond and Bill; and sister, Shirley.
