Robert was born on May 13, 1963, in Cleavland, Ohio, the son of Carl and Iris Rogusky Cannon. He married Melissa Foor on February 14, 2014, in Muscatine.

While working at Bayer as a security guard he built a family relationship with ‘all’ the wonderful people he came across. Always willing to be your friend or guidance counselor. Whichever one you needed him to be. An Honest and loyal friend.

He always had a way with the ladies, you know who you are. There will forever be a special place in his heart for the ones he called “my girls”, who took very good care of him all the way to the end.

Robert enjoyed experiencing new restaurants, boating, and fishing. He treasured moments spent with his dog Ollie, especially watching her run free on sandbars. Robert found solace in walking through cemeteries, fostering a deep appreciation for history and expanding his knowledge. He appreciated nature and enjoyed getting photos and videos of the deer, birds, and fish on the nature reserve near his work. Robert even caught a photo of an albino frog on the fence, thinking it was a rock at first. He was a fan of the Cleveland Browns.

Thank you all for loving Bobby as your family, friend, and confidant. He will be deeply missed!

Those left to honor his memory include, his wife, Melissa Cannon of Fruitland; two sons, Robert ‘Bobby’ Cannon and his significant other, Annie Minor and Justin Cannon and his wife Meredith, all of Ohio; siblings, Kimberly Cannon of Youngstown, Ohio, and Ron Templin and his wife, Vicki both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Carson, Adelaide, Harmony, and Marley; and stepdaughter, Rochelle LeCompte of Muscatine.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael ‘Hank’ Templin; and his wife Karen Reynolds.
