ROBIN PHARES

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Robin Phares, 62, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at her home.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Tommy and Lynette Roberts will officiate. The family is requesting guests to refrain from wearing black but instead, wear something tie dye or Snoopy themed.  

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Life Pointe. Online Condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Robin was born on January 30, 1962, in Iowa City, the daughter of Marion and Wilda Evelyn Lindley Phares. She married Steven C. Suhl on November 4, 1988, they raised 3 children together and later divorced.

Robin was a member of Life Pointe and many Ministries.

Robin loved Jesus and lived her life full of love, joy, peace, and faithfulness. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, and camping.

Robin is survived by her children, Darcy (Brian) Darling, Kari (Justin) Fisher, and Janice (Travis) Messerschmitt; grandkids, Nora, Ashton, and Cole Darling, Ambrosia, Raedan, Zatanna, and Ryker Eddington, Malia Messerschmitt, Axon, Zenith, Jerrick, and Kaizly Fisher; and siblings, Linda (Don) Snodgrass, Dennis Phares, Terrance (Wanda) Phares, Jerry (Marc) Weaver, Stacy (Richard) Leach.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marilee Phares; grandson, Dallas Anderson; and nephew, David Schmidt.
