RONALD ROBERT CHANDLER

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Ronald Robert Chandler, 91, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Muscatine.

Ronald was born on May 26, 1934, in Muscatine, the son of Frank and Arlette McClintock Chandler. He married Toni J. Hansen on April 22, 1957. She preceded him in death on June 11, 2021.

Ronald lived in Muscatine all his life. He was a Muscatine High School graduate. He barbered together with his dad. He also ran the Sugar Plum Tree Childcare.

He was an expert on anything with math.  

Ronald is survived by his children, Stacy (Kenny Kelley), Matthew Chandler (Julie), and Becky Paul (Chuck Powell); grandchildren, Joshua Hutt (Jaren), Shawn Chandler (Jeanette), Melody Byrd (Matt), and Heather Paul; one great grandson, Michael; and one great granddaughter, Morning Byrd.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Toni; and grandson, Derek Chandler.
