Born on November 8, 1937, to Charles and Leona Curtis, Rosalee was known for her sweet spirit and unmistakable feisty nature. Rosalee was a 1956 graduate of Muscatine High School. She retired from Grain Processing Corporation (GPC) after many dedicated years of service.

Rosalee married James Yerington on January 16, 1981, and they shared a life filled with love, family, and faith. She was a devoted member of Zion Lutheran Church in Wilton, Iowa, where her strong faith was a constant source of comfort and strength.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Yerington; her children, Ronda Brown (Welsch) and her fiancé Craig Lewis, and Randall Welsch and his wife Barbara Welsch; her stepchildren Kathy Zaehringer, John Yerington and his wife Jane Yerington, and Deb Goddard and her husband Gene Goddard.

Rosalee was a proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She cherished every moment with her growing family and leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Leona Curtis; her brothers Richard Curtis (and his wife Donna Curtis), Robert Curtis, and Raymond Curtis; and her stepson, James "Jim" Yerington Jr.

Rosalee found joy in life’s simple pleasures — she loved baking, playing bingo, and doing crafts. Her warmth, creativity, and lively personality brightened every room she entered. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she gave so freely.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
