MUSCATINE, Iowa – Rosemary Newland, 75, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

Rosemary was born on October 28, 1949, in Muscatine, the daughter of James Isaac and Florance Burzell Blake.
She enjoyed painting, reading, and crocheting.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Nathan Bowstead and Angela Bowstead; and three sisters, Barb Plett, Phyllis Gerel, and Judy Doak.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Nicole Bowstead.
