SANDRA KAY MAXAM

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Sandra Kay Maxam, 74, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Premier Estates.

Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Walnut Park Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the church. Memorials may be made in Sandras name, in care of Donna Evans. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Sandra was born on January 8, 1950, in Muscatine, the daughter of Delbert and Jennie Decker Snyder. She married Cecil Maxam on November 22, 1969, in Muscatine.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, talking on the phone, and helping people.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Donna (Dean) Evans; grandchildren, Kenneth (Jamie) Evans, Joshua (Erica) Evans, Jena (Preston Martin) Evans, and Molly (Mikala Clark) Maxam; great grandchildren, Alexander, Kailyn, Ember, Maia, Carson, Noah, Kurtis, and a baby on the way; sister, Tammy (Hector Gonzales) Snyder; sister-in-law, Clare Snyder; special niece, Emily (Caleb) Miller; special friends Janice and Sharon; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil; grandson, Kurtis; granddaughter, Chelsea; brothers, Larry and Lowell; and sisters, Violet, Naomi, Alma, and Barbara.
