MUSCATINE, Iowa – Sharon Willits, 82, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. 

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, May 17, 2024, in Greenwood Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com 

Sharon was born on August 31, 1941, in Muscatine, the daughter of George and Claire Hamilton Hingst. She was with James P. Brislawn for 37 years until his passing in 2018.

She enjoyed video poker, country music, dancing with Jim, and twinkies. She had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Kline and husband, Mike, of Muscatine; one grandson, Chad Brislawn and wife, Claudia; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Connor Brislawn; and two siblings, Dixie Morehead of Muscatine, and Bill Hingst and wife, Kathy, of Muscatine.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, James.
