STEVEN E. LANE

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Steven E. Lane, 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at UnityPoint Trinity.

Steven was born on November 9, 1948, in Muscatine, the son of Lee N. and Iona M. LaRue Lane. He married Debbie Hill on October 2, 1971, at the Wesley United Church.

Steven was a United States Navy Veteran. He worked at GPC for 35 years and retired in 2004.

Steven enjoyed fishing, getting his lottery tickets, watching sports, and working out in the yard. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his greatest joy was his kids and grandchildren.

Steven is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Stacy Jebson and husband, Les, and Steve Lane and significant other, Teresa Vasquez; grandchildren, Caelie, Owen, Elena, and Jacey; and siblings, Rick Lane, Ron Lane and wife, Dawn, Randy Lane, and Todd Lane and wife, Rochelle.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Lane.
