STEVEN M. MARX

MUSCATINE, Iowa - Steven M. Marx, 67, of Muscatine, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Friday, January 17. Final goodbyes were held privately in a small family setting.

Steve was born on January 8, 1958, to parents Donna and Donald 'Duke' Marx in Muscatine, Iowa. Throughout his life, he enjoyed spending his time playing golf, reading westerns, watching movies, and tinkering in his workshop. He was a huge Packers fan (Go, Pack, Go!) and, win or lose, loved rooting for his favorite team. 

Those left to honor Steve's memory include his children, Sarah Kalin (Jacqui Kalin), Megan Marx (Josh Anderson), Sean Marx (Savannah Marx); seven grandchildren, Colton, Jilian, Tucker, and Kaia Anderson and Autumn, Eden, and Falin Marx; one brother, Craig Marx (Vicki Marx), and former spouse, Sue Marx. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Cathy Estabrook. 

Steve leaves special memories of childhood fun, laughter, and endless generosity to be cherished by his children and family. He leaves his Riverside coworkers turned friends with moments of great humor, kindness, and camaraderie. All would agree: Steve was truly one of a kind.
