TERESA ANN McCLEARY-McKIM

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Teresa Ann McCleary-McKim, 47, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at her home.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Muscatine VFW Post 1565. Burial will be at a later date. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Teresa, in care of her husband, Vern. Teresa was born on November 27, 1976, in Muscatine, the daughter of Robert and Marilyn Walker McCleary. After 30 years of being together, she was united in marriage to Vernon ‘Vern’ McKim Jr. in September of 2023.

Teresa enjoyed collecting Pepsi, M&M’s, Donald Duck, and anything with dragons. She loved her husky, Mia, and German shepherds.

She is survived by her husband, Vern; children, Michael (Dolores) McKim, Tyler McKim, Bethanie (Zeth) McKim, and Cody (Rylee) McKim; granddaughter, Kenalee; father, Robert ‘Bob’ (Susan) McCleary; mother, Marilyn McCleary; siblings, David (Wendy) McCleary and Brandi McCleary; and nieces and nephews.

She preceded in death by her grandparents; an unborn child in 2014; niece, Ashley McCleary; uncles, Butch and Russell McCleary; cousin, Dean McCleary; mother-in-law, Barbra Hunt; aunt, Janice Phiefer; and uncle, Herman Phiefer.
