TERRY LEE McCLEARY

MILAN, Illinois – Terry Lee McCleary, 68, passed away on May 26, 2026, at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the Riverview Center in Muscatine. The Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Terry was born on January 6, 1958, in Muscatine, the son of James and Irene Kroeger McCleary. He married JoAnn Hunter on May 28, 1976, in Muscatine.

Terry was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Terry enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards, and watching the Chicago Cubs. Terry had a great sense of humor and was always joking around. Most of all, he loved spending time with his dog, Rocky, and his grandkids.

Terry is survived by his wife, JoAnn McCleary; children, Joy McCleary, Stacie Duran, and Danny (Anita Reyes) McCleary; grandchildren, Hazelle, Heather, Marcus, DJ, Alyssa, Daylon, Tehya, Cayden, and Mariah; great grandchildren, Mario, Estrella, and two on the way; brother, Larry McCleary; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; both grandparents; sisters, Sharon and Patricia; and brother, Jim.
