TILLIE HOPE TURNER

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Tillie Hope Turner, 57, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Wapello Care Center.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Marlana Wilson. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Tillie was born on April 29, 1967, in Muscatine, the daughter of Glen Dywane Willet and Kelly Ann Steckman Willet Weger.

Tillie was a member of the Jesus Mission.

Tillie enjoyed drinking, dancing, and liked having a good time. She was always helping people out when they needed it. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends and when she was sober, with her children.  

Tillie is survived by her three children, Dywane Willet and wife of Tennessee, Jeffrey ‘Jeff’ Turner and wife of Illinois, and Brett Turner and wife of Muscatine; several grandchildren; sisters, Lela (Jim) Hooker, Helen (Warren) Trader, and Punkie Spencer; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen Willet and Kelly Weger; siblings, Glen E. Willet and Penny McDonnell; nephews, Brad, James Lee, and Charles Netherland; great niece, Raylynn Ross; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
