VERLEE M. GIPPLE BROWN

MUSCATINE, Iowa – Verlee M. Gipple Brown, 92, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Accura Health Care of Muscatine, formerly known as Premier Estates.

Graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor David McIntosh will officiate. There will be a time of food and fellowship at Hillcrest Baptist Church following the burial. Memorials may be made to Susan McCleary and sent to the funeral home, in honor of Verlee. The Ralph J. Verlee was born on January 30, 1933, in Muscatine, the daughter of Otto M. and Irma A. Cook Eden. She married Robert H. Gipple on February 19, 1964. He preceded her in death. She later married Gerald D. Brown on January 13, 1996. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Verlee was a hard worker. She worked with her husband Bob on building houses and sold real estate for several years.

Verlee is survived by many special friends and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and both husbands.
