Sorry to hear of your loss. Junior coached my woman's fastpitch softball team for many years. I got to know Bert and all his daughters and we'd have many laughs and parties. God bless you all. Janice Martz (Steinke)

Annette and I were quite saddened to hear of Junior's passing. We always enjoyed our chats with him & Bert. I'm so sorry to hear of Junior's passing. I only knew him through Iowa football games where I met him years ago in the stands where he sat with Steve Bowers. I continued to see and visit with Junior at Steve's tailgate gatherings. They were always enjoyable, upbeat, insightful visits. He was a wonderful guy. I'll miss him and think of him often. I wish all of you the warmest memories of Junior. J. Patrick White

Burt and family, so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers. May God comfort you and bring to mind many happy memories as time goes on. As you know, my late husband, Jim, was good friends of both Junior and John and they made a lot of good memories fishing, playing ball and Junior and Jim working at Thatcher and then there were a couple of bus trips that come to mind, also. Take care. Grace Steckman
He was one swell person.
