James Huff MEDIAPOLIS - James Huff, 67, of Mediapolis, died Friday, Dec. 17, 1999, at the Burlington Medical Center. Services were today at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello. Burial will be at the Parsons Cemetery in Wapello. The Rev. Dan Battrell officiated. Mr. Huff was born July 2, 1932, in Yarrow, Mo., the son of Vincent and Ruby Jennings Huff. He married Eula Tisor on Feb. 6, 1954, in Burlington. He graduated from Moulton High School in Moulton in 1950. He served in the U.S. Marines in 1950 and 1951. He graduated from LaSalle Barber College in Sioux City in 1956 and was a barber in Estherville and later in Oakville. He was a member of the American Legion in Oakville. He enjoyed his family along with fishing and reading Westerns. Survivors include his wife, Eula; a son, Ronald Tisor and his wife, Carolyn, of Mediapolis; a daughter, Linda and Alan Blum of Estherville; five grandchildren, Nicki Ellis and her husband, Bob, Donald Tisor and his wife, Pamela, Zachary, Blum Shana Blum, Carrie Parker and her husband, Edward; five great-grandchildren, Samanth Tisor, Brandon Ellis, Cody Tisor, Angela Ellis, and Ronald Ellis; a sister, Roberta Drury of Nevada, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
