WILLIAM LAVERN 'BILL' REINSAGER
MUSCATINE, Iowa - William Lavern 'Bill' Reinsager, 85, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Select Medical Specialty Hospital in Davenport.
There will be no services. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Mathias Catholic Church. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Bill was born on June 5, 1937, in Muscatine, the son of Lyle and Ruth (Hess) Reinsager. He married Katherine Huber on September 8, 1960, at St. Mathias Church.
He loved hunting and fishing with his brother-in-law, Ron, and his dad, Lyle. His love for the outdoors also branched out into taxidermy and hand carving and painting duck decoys.
William is survived by his wife, Katherine, of Muscatine; his son, Todd of Muscatine; his sister-in-law, Lois Reinsager of Oklahoma; nephews, Mark Reinsager of Oklahoma, and Michael Reinsager of Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James 'Jimmy' Reinsager; and his nephew, Thomas Reinsager.
