MUSCATINE, Iowa - Pamela Sue Geertz, 61, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at her home.
A Graveside Service will be held at noon, on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Chaplain Scott Minteer will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice. Pamela was born on March 1, 1956, in Fort Madison, the daughter of Wilbert and Dorothy Fedler Niggemeyer. She married LeRoy Schell on February 11, 2017, in Muscatine.
She worked as head manager at McDonald's in Muscatine from 1978 until 2015.
Pamela enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, outdoor activities, gambling and playing with her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, LeRoy Schell of Muscatine; one son, Brian Schell and fiancé, Lisa Hocke, of Fruitland; one daughter, Pamela Stewart and husband, Ryan, of Letts; five grandchildren, Lea Kay and Jaynee Mae Stewart, and Phoenix, Preston and Phoebe Hocke; two sisters, Debbie Nichols and husband, Rick, of Mediapolis, and Terry Cramblit and husband, Scott, of Fort Madison; one niece; four great nieces; one great nephew; and one great great niece.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Wilbert and Dorothy Niggemeyer.
